Participation in Discussion Groups

Chuck is looking forward to visiting the campus of George Mason University on May 25th for a discussion about loss, grief, healing, and The Compassionate Friends.

Over the last few months, Chuck has been honored to speak with grieving family members at the Arlington and Fredericksburg Chapters in Virginia, and the Potomac Chapter in Maryland.  Currently, he and his wife Kathy are co-chairing the planning for the 2010 conference of The Compassionate Friends, scheduled for July 2-4 in Arlington, Virginia at the Crystal City Hyatt. This conference will offer over 150 workshops and sharing sessions focused on a multitude of topics including survival, healing, and hope.  A special candle lighting ceremony will be held on July 3rd to celebrate our children's lives.  See www.compassionatefriends.org for details, or to register for the conference.

Each year, a special Walk to Remember is held to pay tribute to all of our beloved children who have left this world far too soon.  Visit Chuck's Walk to Remember website at https://www.kintera.org/faf/donorReg/donorPledge.aspievent=339068&supId=289738277.  For more information about this event, visit The Compassionate Friends website and access the "News and Events" link for the Walk to Remember.
