Kathy Collins, Chuck's wife, was the featured guest speaker at the TCF Potomac Maryland Chapter's annual candle light meeting in December.
In November, 2011, Chuck attended the The Compassionate Friends national board of directors meeting in Nashville, Tennessee.
Chuck participated in the authors book signing session during the Bereaved Parents of the USA conference in Reston, Virginia held on July, 2011.
Chuck
conducted a Grieving Through
Interaction with Police, Attorneys, and Courts
workshop during the
34th national conference of The Compassionate Friends in Minneapolis, Minnesota,
July 15-17th. His discussion focused on the emotional issues raised in his book
at Chapter 11 - Grieving through Litigation or
Investigations.
Chuck also facilitated an evening sharing session for grieving fathers entitled "For Dads Only" during the national conference.

Other Activities:
Drs. Gloria and Heidi Horsley invited Chuck to discuss excerpts from his book during their workshop entitled Finding Hope Again After Loss.
Chuck visited George Mason University as a guest lecturer to discuss loss, grief, healing, and The Compassionate Friends.
Chuck has been honored to visit with grieving family members at the Arlington and Fredericksburg Chapters in Virginia, and the Potomac Chapter in Maryland.
Chuck serves as an elected member on the National Board of Directors of The Compassionate Friends. His wife Kathy serves as TCF's Regional Coordinator for twenty chapters in Virginia and the District of Columbia. Both served as Co-chairs for the 33rd National Conference of The Compassionate Friends held in July, 2010 in Arlington, Virginia. Over 1350 grieving family members attended this event.
